These are the websites/apps we discussed in class... Make sure to rate them and visit them :) Also remember that suggestions on new technology for the class are always welcome!
ToonDoo is fun and creative and could be used for practically any age group so I'll give it a 4.
Glogster seems to be interactive but I didn't really see how it can be used for learning so I think I'll give it a 2.
Kahoot can be so much fun and is definitely very interactive for students, you can make your own questions according to the type od class you have, however the part about everyone having the technology can be a disadvantage but if you are able to get all the tech it can be super cool so I will give it a 5.
TED seems to be a resource with reliable information, it can be good for reading exercises so I will give it a 3.
ClassDojo is also a fun app to interact with your students, however this app is more for kids or teens so I'll give it a 3.

Hello teacher, as you know I wasn't in the classroom when those apps or websites were introduce, but I read about those and this is what I think: 1. In my opinion TED is a magnificent technological resource, because I had the experience to used it and for soe vocabulary terms and listening skills was excellent and besides the talks are very interesting, you can find what you are interest to and for me was a great self-personality development I'll give it a 5 2. ClassDojo is so nice, I love the fact that you can create and interact with a cartoon character of course in the target language, although some teenager or adults would not like this is a such nice way for chicking your students practice and interacing I'll give it a 3 3. Kahoot is multiple diverse in my perception although some students could not acces to this, the ones that can do it, will discover how funny and interactive it is, besides is also a resource for the teacher can assign it as a task or homework i'll give it a 4 4. ToonDoo I like the fact that students can interact between themselves by this app and they can share their ideas and proposals of course in the foerign language and the teacher can check their language development I'll give it a 4 5 Glogster although some students won't be abble to learn with this as some other apps, I think that is a great tool for beginners and elementary students can acquiere new vocabulary and own practice I'll give it a 3

Hey guys, Toondoo - i think this is a great tool for the classroom as it incorporates both words and images which enhances students learning. Also it is really creative and can be used for any ages. I give it a 5.
Kahoot - i think this great! Teachers can make a quiz so quickly and all they have to do is bring the students to a computer room and test them on any subject. Its fun and competitve for students and gives the teacher an idea of how their students are going. Suitable for all ages i believe. I give it a 5.
Class Dojo - again is great for teachers to gauge their students' progress. It also uses images and is entertaining and engages parents in the process which is great. However, only suitable for children. I give it a 4.
Glogster - a great tool that puts a spin on the usual poster making process which does not limit any students because of artistic ability. Not as beneficial as the other sites though so i will give it a 3.
TED talks - great CLIL tool that allows students to learn about a variety of subjects whilst practising their language. Suitable for more advanced students as the language used could be quite difficult. I give it a 3.
Just want to note that all these great tools require the use of computers and if we end up teaching in a school with few facilities these may not be an option unfortunately.
Toon doo can be used for learners of any age. Not only this, but it allows students to express their creativity which allows the class to be more student centered. I give it a 5.
I totally agree with erin. I think glogster is an excellent tool. You can go beyond the usual poster making process. It also gives students more confidence and doesn't allow their artistic ability to stifle their creativity. for me its a 4.
Although class dojo is an excellent way to control behavior management i will have to give it a 3. It can be very useful and creative, but the process of getting parents involved can be very difficult. Also, it is mainly for young learners.
TED talks is amazing. I'm a big fan! BUT it has articles that can be very difficult for many learners. I think that it is a better tool for more advanced classes. Therefore, im going to give it a 3.
Kahoot. Love love love it!!!! It is excellent for reviews before "the big exam" or even just for a fun review from what the students learned the class before. It creates a very fun and competitive environment. The only (and very big) problem is that it requires wifi and a cellular device. This can be very inconvenient. For this reason, i am going to give it a 4.
Indeed all five tools can be very useful when teaching but it will certainly depend on how effectively and efficienly we and students themselves are to use them. I will rate them as it follows:
1. Toondoo = creative, easy and open for everyone regardless artistic abilities. 2. Kahoot = creative and easy but limited by technology 3. Dojo = Not that simple but very useful. 4. Glogster = Easy but not that attractive for everyone. 5. Ted = Can be difficult for begginers and eventhough for intermedium levels.
I think classdojo is just for kids ill give it a 3
